More snow

It is March 2nd and I'm miserable.

We got snow not from one but two Nor'esterners (type of storm in this part of the USA). Kids don't have school. We've got a foot of snow.

I'm so insanely sick of snow. But I don't know of any "sick of snow songs" so I'll just have to make my own....

Blame it on the snow (snow)
Blame it on the stars (stars)
Whatever you do don't put the blame on you
Blame it on the snow yeah yeah
You can blame it on the snow

(Apologies to Milli Vanilli. Actually, no I don't apologize. They plagiarized too).

Here comes the snow again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your [frozen] ocean
Is it snowing with you

(I really do apologize to the Eurythmics).

Music Monday at Soccer Mom in Denial

Any songs to make me warm? Forget that I have three cooped up kids? Do share.

Please join in Music Monday. Just remember if you plan to use little Mr. Linky below, write a post about music and link back to me. Music always makes Monday a bit more fun.

But if you plan on posting an advertisement, I will delete your link as well as your comment. Just don't bother.

oh you poor thing. I've barely seen anything all year but I do fondly remember some very snowy winters in New England. hang in there!

oh gosh, that's tough. I can totally understand how you can totally get depressed by snow (remember http://goofballsworld.blogspot.com/2008/11/how-you-end-up-hating-snow.html)

All I can say is that here in western europe all starts to bud, so why don't you come over for a visit?

To commiserate, and I am literally with you detesting the additional snow we did NOT need.
A musical selection to warm you to your toes, made by my 9 year old, now rockin' out in the kitchen:
We're going to dance
And have some fun

The chills that you
Spill up my back
Keep me filled with
Satisfaction when we're done
Satisfaction of what's to come
I couldn't ask for another
No I couldn't ask for another
Your groove I do deeply dig
No walls only the bridge
My supperdish, my succotash wish
(Sing it baby)
I couldn't ask for another
No I couldn't ask for another

Groove is in the Heart
Groove is in the Heart
Groove is in the Heart
Groove is in the Heart
