Yesterday's post is a Vox Op

I opened today's Big City paper and found part of yesterday's post in the Vox Op section of the Editorial Page.

What is weird is I didn't submit it. They just found me.

Can they do that? Legally?

That is really cool! You must have been so surprised.

Did they cite you at least? I think journalists are turning increasingly to googling for their research and find blogs quickly that way.

Just to clarify, the Vox Op section is devoted to blogs. Blog author's are noted and the url's are included. I consider it an honor, for a very sad piece, to be included in the section.

So I'm reading the paper just now and I not only see your blog quotes (which I just love b/c I'm big into naming things - for lots of reasons and I love the idea of naming things to create more meaning and long-lasting effect if not notoriety), but I ALSO see to the left, on the editorial page, an editorial on the Expiring Use bill that you are working hard to get passed by the end of next week when the legislative session ends. What a day for you! You rock, woman!

You should Google Richard L. Cravatts article "Unintended fallout of a loan crisis" (it also appeared in the Globe). I am no fan of Bush (never voted for him) but your comments that did appear in the Globe never took into account just how much of subprime lending came about. There is blame to go around and some of it has to do with the notion of "free credit" for all or that bad credit should not prevent anyone from the "American Dream". Anyway, I thought your comments were just kind of knee jerk and not well argued. I think the Globe put them int to generate discussion because they were so one sided and one dimensional.

That TOTALLY rocks!!! I'm glad someone read it and had the good sense to highlight it like that-- even if they didn't tell you in advance! Very cool, babe.

That's wild! Your 15 mins of fame :) But you write intelligently, so it would be expected that you get quoted.
