I'm a fool

Change of weather is the discourse of fools.
- Thomas Fuller, 1608-1661, British Clergyman, Author

It is too cold here (as I write this it is 13F/-11C while during the night it will get down to 0F/-18C) to write, talk or generally function. And in a 139 year old farm house it is sheer misery.

So call me a fool. A very cold fool.

Oh not a fool at all! How cool that you live in a 139 year old farm house. Break out the wool sweaters. The temps are negative here in OH, too. Brr.

Thomas Fuller can kiss my behind. This weather is most definitely post worthy. Hope you have at least one warm room.

OK, the wuss of the South, checking in...it was 33 F this morning...in New Orleans. Made for a "brisk" bike ride to work.

Lower temps (into the 20s, rare for us) tonight. Yeesh. There's a reason I live South of I-10.

And this ain't it!

Sending you warmish thoughts!

So very sorry for you. Especially sorry given that it was 73 degrees here across the bay from San Francisco today.

ya know, I spend an awful lot of time discoursing about the weather, good bad rain cold hot etc etc etc. Its real conversation IMO.
Hope you get warm soon!

I-10 cuts through the middle of Houston but I live on the southern side of it, too.
