Like mummies
The boys have been running around in my brother's old Star Wars costumes. The ones like garbage bags with hard plastic masks.
I explained they needed to be careful since the costumes were 30 year old. One of them said,
"30 years old?! That's like a thousand year old mummy!"
Yeah, and they smell like one too.

hahahahaa! a thousand year old mummy.
i bet people would pay good money for those costumes on ebay.
I was just thinking the same thing about ebay! It's nice that their able to enjoy your brother's costumes. One of my son's favorite toys is my Sesame Street playhouse for the old-fashioned long since recalled Little People.
Those costumes rock! Hope your kids will enjoy them just as your brother did, a thousand years ago, LOL! :)

Vintage!! I never went that route for costumes, but then you know how fond I am of making my own! I love their perspective on time - how are they with cost/value? My nephew still thinks it costs about $20 to buy a car. Happy Friday! Ken
We've got one of the original Star Wars dolls...R2D2...all faded and worn. Smells as old as the hills and the dog must think it a pleasing aroma as she tore it to pieces last week. So much for recouping beaucoup bucks on e-bay. Damn canines and their noses.
"And they smell like it too." hahahaha. I BET they do!!!
I totally remember those! How cool did we think we were?
Those are cute costumes! I'll have to show my hubby (the Star Wars fan of the family)
hehe that is too cute! Adoring those costumes!
