Honorable Mention

FINALLY!

Really, finally.

The Write-Away Contest hosted by Scribbit

I received an honorable mention in Scribbit's monthly write-away contest for the piece I wrote about teaching one of my sons how to ride his bike. And not call him a wimp to his face. It was not one of my shining moments as a parent.

But he knows how to ride a bike.

I plan to "wear" the button with great pride. And big thank you to this month's judge, Chelle!

Jen - coming from you and the week you had I am amazed you are even out there visited folks. You are spectacular.

Nap warden - just seeing your "name" and image makes me smile. I am so lucky you found me. And you are sneaky too...

jami - all caps?! Aw shucks.

Maypole - I am a winer. A grade A winer. I also like wine. Alot. :)

Totally well deserved! I loved that post when I read it the first time (I am not suppose to know who wrote what when I judge however, that post was unforgettable!)

Don't thank me ... unless it is for great taste in posts :P

Ok so Chelle outed me. She had seen the post when I first wrote it back in March.

However, in my defense I hadn't bothered to read who the judge was for the September Write-Away until AFTER I picked the post. Really. That's the truth.

But thanks Chelle. Coming from you, this really is an honor since you are one of those "Supah Bloggahs"!

Hey! I didn't see this before. (and I didn't hear you shouting from the rooftops about it!)
Well done you. I am very very proud.
